Can the sauna be used outdoors?
Only if installed in a garden building such as a summer house or a shed.
Can the saunas be used by clubs and commercial operators?
Yes but the guarantee is restricted to 1 year.
Can the size of the cabin be altered to suit my room?
Yes it is quite straightforward to reduce the length or width of any cabin and instructions on how to do this are provided in the assembly manual.
How easy are the saunas to install?
Easy for a reasonably competent DIYer or you could contact a local joiner.
How is the delivery affected?
Goods are generally despatch to the carrier within 21 days of order, the carrier will contact you to arrange for a suitable date and time. Delivery is to the door but not into your home. Most complete saunas are shipped out on a pallet. The delivery vehicle will have either a tail lift or hiab crane for off loading. Safe movement of the goods inside the delivery premises is the customer’s responsibility.
How long will it take to install a sauna cabin?
Between 4 hours and 1 day depending on size of cabin.
Is it difficult to assemble the sauna in a restricted area such as a loft or basement?
Our sauna are panel saunas and are supplied flat packed for assembly on site. The panels are approximately 1900 mm tall by 600 mm wide and 50 mm thick. Providing you can get the panels through any loft door etc. there will be no difficulty to assemble the cabin.
Is it necessary to treat the timber?
No, but a special micro porous varnish is supplied for the outside only of the cabin.
What about ventilation?
The sauna cabin is self venting. There is a gap below the door to allow cold air to enter and a sliding vent to control the exhaust of hot stale air. As long as the 25mm air gap is maintained all around the cabin no further venting is required.
What are the running costs?
All our sauna heaters are thermostatically controlled so that once the operating temperature has been reached they stop heating and then cycle on and off to maintain the temperature so assuming the cost for a one kilowatt hour unit of electricity to be 7p:
