Steam Room Benefits

Steam bathing dates back at least to the times of the Romans and probably earlier, to many it is the very pinnacle of bathing pleasure.

There are few experiences that compare to the sumptuous warmth and humidity of super soft clouds of steam rolling over your skin; at once cleansing and refreshing.

When steam is generated impurities in the water are left behind, when the steam then condenses back into new water it is pure, fresh and clear. The heat and humidity induce skin pores to open allowing deep down cleansing.

When steam condenses it gives back the heat of evaporation; gently warming the skin makes the blood vessels more pliable, blood flows more easily so that tensions reduce, stresses and strains are eased, aches and pains melt away.

When crushed herbs or essential oils are placed in the inlet nozzle the steam evaporates the oils and carries the aroma; you can choose from a wide variety of delightful aromas to suit your mood.
